GSFC has successfully transitioned over 6,500 email users to NOMAD since December 1, 2007 and has successfully transitioned to NOMAD calendaring. As of May 1, 2008 the NOMAD calendaring service is the official electronic calendar for GSFC and everyone who has a NOMAD mailbox has access to this calendaring tool.
For those employees who do not yet have a NOMAD account, you can request one by following the new account process. Anyone needing a NOMAD account should use this process: new civil servants, new contractors, summer interns, existing employees who did not have email previously, etc.
